LATGA represents over 20 million foreign works and over 4 million authors and producers of music, plays, visual arts and audiovisual arts from all over the world on the basis of reciprocal representation agreements. Today, LATGA has signed 174 international representation agreements with collecting societies from 66 foreign countries.

The International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers was founded in 1926 on the initiative of societies of authors from 18 countries. CISAC currently brings together 232 collecting societies representing authors of music, audiovisual works, plays, literary and visual works from 120 countries. The current President of CISAC is ABBA member and songwriter Björn Ulvaeus. LATGA became a CISAC member in 1992.
Find out moreThe European Visual Artists’ Association (EVA) was launched in 1997 and currently has 26 member associations for the collective management of copyright in the visual arts in Europe, representing nearly 100,000 authors of fine art, illustration, photography, design, architecture and other visual works. LATGA has been a member of EVA since 2000.
Find out moreIFFRO (International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations) The International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFFRO), which started in 1980, currently has 145 members representing authors and rights holders in the visual arts when their works are reproduced by reprography. LATGA has been a member of this organisation since 2003.
